The institute uses the email service which is provided by the ZDV.
Default email address syntax for employees is username@uni-mainz.de and for students username@students.uni-mainz.de. In addition to this, every new employee (after May 2017) of Institute of Nuclear Physics gets a first_letter_of_givenname.surname@kph.uni-mainz.de alias added to his or her account. The old kph email addresses where added as an alias to each users account.
On the JGU account management website, you can configure your email aliases and forwarding settings.

If you are experiencing problems with your email account, please contact the ZDV hotline. You can contact them during the week from 9 to 18'o'clock:
